Go into account settings and make sure that accept inmail is switched off.

Yes, I attempted to block inmail from everyone not connected to me, but the feature doesn't work. The junk still comes in.

Listen to the man, Linkedin has the worst customer service department in the business. If you contact them, you will be lucky if you hear back from it within a month. I don't understand why anyone uses them? I had an account for a few years but nuked it eventually when the spam became too much of a problem. There are also some real psychos on there.
