This Canadian angel investor network is associated with Ryerson University in Toronto.
The Ryerson Angel Network (RAN) is the first university-led Angel Investor group in Canada and is designed to bring the entrepreneurial ideas of Ryerson University students and alumni together with Angel investors.
RAN offers Angels a unique opportunity to discover and participate in the commercialization of innovative and enterprising ideas from current and past students of Ryerson University, which is home to Canada’s largest undergraduate business program. RAN has been established in collaboration with the National Angel Organization (NAO), which will provide funding, training and best-practice investment strategies. With this partnership, RAN has established an Angel network that will mitigate each investor’s risk as well as provide both social and professional benefits.
The network's angel investors will invest from $50,000 to over $500,000 in startups meeting meeting the group's criteria.
